First Baby

– Joining in the round

Please bring: 3.25 mm and 3.75 mm double pointed needles, scissors, tapestry needle, and locking stitch markers

Trio of Trees

Danish designer Tina Vejlø Andersen has created a pattern for a sweet trio of evergreen trees. Working with Jamieson’s Spindrift yarn, each tree section is defined by pleats and uses a different stitch motif. A wee challenge to knit, Ms. Andersen combines small twisted cables to create texture and interest all without a cable needle. Completed trees measure 7, 8 & 10 cms tall.

Materials included: Pattern + 6 colours of Jamieson’s Spindrift yarn

Needles & Notions needed:
– 3.0mm dpns & 2.0mm dpns (5 needles if you
have them)
– Row counter, scissors, and tapestry needle

Learn How to Weave on a Rigid Heddle Loom

The rigid heddle loom is very lightweight, portable and easy to use. In this class you will learn to warp the loom, weave a sampler and basic finishing techniques. Includes use of a rigid heddle loom for the day. Please bring your lunch.

Needle Felted Holiday Ornament

Needle felting is a fun and satisfying craft. These little ornaments are perfect hang from your tree or add the finishing touch on gifts. Just bring yourself and go home with at least 2 unique ornaments.

All materials included, and the curly locks for Santa beards come from our flock of Cotswold sheep.

Saori Style Scarf

In this class you will learn how to use your varident reed, choose yarns and weave up a gorgeous scarf.

Students will require a minimum 20″ rigid heddle loom, a varident reed, 5 shuttles and all the usual weaving paraphernalia.

Please let us know at time of registration if you need to purchase a varident reed.

Yarn should be picked up and wound before class.

Skill level: Intermediate- must be able to warp independently
