Antique Barn Loom - This barn loom is at least 150 years old. The places where the weaver sat on the bench and held the beater are smooth with wear. It’s a counter-balance four-harness 45″ loom with overhead beater, like a Swedish-style loom. String heddles have been made for it, and a carpenter has made a couple of missing pieces. It is functional and the weight of the overhead beater is great for rugs. If interested, or would like to see pictures, please contact Janet Wallace at: janetwallace@xplornet.com
