Antique Loom

This counter-balance loom originally came from a Scottish homestead in Cape Breton, NS (circa.- mid to late 1800’s). It has been fully restored and was used to make many treasured items. There are no nails holding it together and the string heddles were replaced with metal heddles in the 4 harnesses. One 36” 12 dent reed which “slips” into place in the above swing beater, a cogged warping beam and a unique tension system which works quite efficiently.

Also, an antique bobbin-winder (history unknown) is for sale along with shuttles, lease sticks, reed hook, bobbins, wool, cotton, and a warping frame. ~~Asking $1800.00~~ Now asking $900! Half off! Antique Skein Winder

This barn red antique winder is a perfect addition to any home. This piece can still function as an actual skein winder, but would make a great conversation piece as well.
