About Gaspereau Valley Fibres
Gaspereau Valley Fibres is a family owned farm and wool shop located in the picturesque Gaspereau Valley just 7 minutes from the Town of Wolfville and Acadia University.
We have been raising Cotswold sheep for over 25 years and presently have a flock of 60 along with a Suri Llama who acts as guardian for the sheep. We process approximately 200 kgs of fleece which is sold in our farm wool shop in the form of yarn, washed and dyed locks, and spinning or felting batts.
Specializing in natural fibre yarns, we carry locally grown fibres and yarn from several different breeds of sheep as well as locally dyed yarns and fibres. We supply knitters, spinners, weavers and felters with spinning wheels, looms, tools and notions. We also host a wide range of classes for all skill levels.
Drop in to visit the farm and wool shop or call or email with orders. We ship worldwide and are opened year round. Orders over $100 (before tax) ship for free in Canada and U.S. If you would like to stay in touch and be the first to receive class schedules please sign up for our newsletter here.
We have an amazing group of talented staff who can help you choose materials for your next project, troubleshoot patterns and techniques, or answer any other fibre related questions you may have.
